Domaine De La Vigne means Estate Of The Vine in French and it will be home to not only the estate vineyard but an organic orchard with expansive raised bed gardens for produce to be enjoyed on the estate at special events for our guests. 

While we wait for our vision for the estate to come to life, we will be releasing wines beautifully made with grapes from select vineyards in Texas. Our first releases will be a Provence style, single varietal Grenache Róse, a Sauvignon Blanc and a classic Bordeaux white blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon that will be ready for release this summer. We’re very excited for the Fall 2026 release of our Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and several beautiful Bordeaux red blends. In the coming years our focus will be on old world style Bordeaux blends, crisp Provence style Rosé, and we’re particularly excited to produce Unoaked Chardonnay from our estate vineyard.

We’re thrilled to be working with storied winemaker Bénédicte Rhyne. Originally from Aix-en-Provence, currently in her thirty sixth harvest season, her well earned wisdom and intuition is reflected in the sophisticated, complex and perfectly balanced wines for which she has become known. After having an established career making wine in France and Sonoma, she’s been living in Fredericksburg, working with Texas grapes for the last twenty years. We can not wait to see the results of her talent combined with the unique properties of our estate vineyard.

We are proudly located in Blanco, Texas.

Dusting the banks of the Blanco River, this special property is home to meadows and springs, rolling hills, limestone shelfs, ravines, wet weather creeks and fields of wildflowers. Heritage oak trees and native Juniper pepper the landscape.  The limestone soils and rocky terrain are filled with boulders that tell the story of ancient seabeds fossilized in time. We’re preparing the land for our estate vineyard where we hope that the harshness and minerality of the soil will be expressed in the vines and translate to rich wines with complex characteristics that are as unique and beautiful as the land from which they come. Our Estate Vineyard is almost complete and will be planted this Spring.
